Borned in Mallorca, 1977. I started looking at the world through my dad’s Pentax SLR viewfinder being a young teenager. By the time I didn't even know you could load film and all the add-ons that complete photography as a form of art/life.

Fast forward to 1996. I was working as a photo assistant when my best friend, who was working as a video operator, showed me how happy I could be in a film set.

1998. Age 21, joined Tilt Arrítmico, a production company/service. Lighting, gripping, and mostly ENG camera operating jobs were the main duties of a very hard and great time next to Jaime Bordoy and the others.

2003. After working as a freelancer those years on all kind of TV shows I started to work as a grip on TVC's and dramas shot on 35mm and 16mm. First chance to be close to negative film motion picture cameras.

I also started studies of Fine Art Photography at Escuela de Bellas Artes de Palma.

2004. I became camera trainee. I did my first job as a Focus Puller this year. GodMan was the production Company. We shot Goldfish, directed by Ed Sayers. Some say the DoP was Ed Rutherford, other say Ben Butler...

2006. After some great time as a 2nd AC and occasionally 1stAC I became full time Focus Puller.

2012. Set a small camera equipment rental company together with a friend/colleague and started DOPing and camera operating as a principal occupation.

2013...working on thecameraplusvan.com and kikoprieto.com.

2015 to today. Camera Operating & DOPing worldwide as a freelance.

I am also teaching Camera Assisting at the Mallorca Film School, starting 3rd year in 2024.
